Sarah Campbell

Executive Advising Officer

Sarah Campbell is a violinist and violist from Boston, Massachusetts. She is an avid chamber musician and orchestral player, most recently performing in Boston’s Jordan Hall as part of the Borromeo String Quartet’s Beethoven Seminar. As a Named Scholarship and Eugene Lehrer Chamber Music Award Recipient at the New England Conservatory’s Preparatory Program, her Chamber Intensive Performance Seminar quartet won First Prize at the Coltman Competition. In addition to performing with NEC’s Symphony and Philharmonia, Sarah has participated in Baroque and New Music Ensembles and multiple operas.


Sarah champions new works on NEC’s Tuesday Night New Music series and is commissioning a piece for solo viola and electronics. She has collaborated across genres/disciplines with Across the Ages Dance Project as well as Terri Lyne Carrington, Braxton Cook, and Sean Jones in MIT’s It Must Be Now!. As both an Ensemble and Community Fellow with NEC’s Community Performances and Partnerships program she connects with a wide array of audiences as a means of creating positive social change. She is a Dean’s Scholarship recipient pursuing her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance with a concentration in Teaching Artistry at New England Conservatory under the guidance of Soovin Kim.
